Have you wanted to get involved with the climate fight but really aren’t sure how? Are you fired up but don’t know how to direct your energy? We want you! Join us for our Volunteer Orientation to learn more about how you personally can fit into the Maryland climate movement. We’ll discuss the progress we’ve won in our state, our goals for a livable future, how we will achieve that future, and how you can help.
For the first hour, we’ll have a presentation and discussion that is perfect for newcomers to the climate fight in Maryland. Then, from 8:00-8:30, we will switch over to discussing in more detail upcoming events and campaigns. Everyone, including more seasoned activists, are invited to attend the later portion.
We’ll be joined by CCAN’s Maryland organizers who will be your guides as we move forward into the next phase of the climate fight. We hope you join us, and bring a friend!
