Did you know that the Opinion page is one of the most-read pages in news publications? That means getting your writing into the Op-Ed section is one of the best ways to bring attention to causes you care about, and an essential tool for raising awareness of critical climate policy.

At this upcoming virtual training, you will learn how to write a compelling letter to the editor (often abbreviated to “LTE”) to elevate the issues you are passionate about, along with tips on getting it published. We’ll also discuss CCAN’s communications plans for the upcoming legislative session and the ways you can put your writing skills to work on our team. This training is especially useful if you prefer a more introverted style of activism and are looking for new ways to get involved.

Join us and gain a great skill you can use right away!
