Save Our Parks

Our gains for equity and natural resource stewardship in Fairfax County are in danger of being erased completely.

Over the past two years the Fair Parks Coalition and partners advocated for over $2 million in additional funds to address inequities in Fairfax Parks. We got funding for staff ecologists who can ensure all our parks have healthy ecosystems. We got funding for multilingual outreach staff to reach communities who need it the most. And we got funding for a parkmobile to travel across our county bringing parks to residents.

But all of that could go away in a heartbeat -- unless we fight for our parks. Fairfax County administrators have proposed deep budget cuts that would completely eliminate all these programs.

Join us to learn how you can make a difference.
